4K – definition
Definition: Video captured at roughly 3840×2160 pixels. 4K packs four times the pixels of 1080p, so footage looks sharper on large TVs and monitors. Bitrate, frame rate, stabilization, and codec (H.264 or HEVC) affect quality and file size. Many phones record 4K at 30 fps on the selfie camera and up to 60 fps on the rear camera, depending on the chip and heat limits.
Example: Recording a 4K/30 clip for YouTube product shots.
