    Key specs at a glance

    • Display: 6.31-inch 2640×1216 AMOLED, 120 Hz, 5000-nit local peak, 1800-nit HBM, P3, ~460 ppi; vivo lists 2160 Hz PWM dimming on the product overview.
    • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ (4 nm; 1×3.4 GHz X4 + 3×2.85 GHz X4 + 4×2.0 GHz A720).
    • Memory/Storage: 12/256 or 16/512; LPDDR5X + UFS 3.1.
    • Rear cameras: 50 MP Sony IMX921 OIS (main) + 8 MP UW + 50 MP Sony IMX882 3× OIS periscope. Front: 50 MP AF. 4K recording supported.
    • Battery/Charging: 6,500 mAh, 90 W wired; charger in the box; no wireless charging.
    • Build: IP68 and IP69, 150.83×71.76×7.99 mm, 186 g, “glass film” back.
    • Software at launch: Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

Design and build (comfort, materials, durability)

The FE keeps a compact footprint with flat sides and a tidy camera island. It’s IP68/IP69 rated for dust/water resistance, which is rare at this price. The back is listed as glass film; the in-display sensor is optical. At 186 g, one-hand use is realistic.

X200 FE display brightness and PWM figures
    OEM-quoted 5000-nit peak and 2160 Hz PWM.

Display and audio (brightness, HDR, PWM)

vivo quotes 5000-nit local peak brightness and 1800-nit HBM on the 1.5K 120 Hz panel, and advertises 2160 Hz PWM dimming on the product overview page for eye comfort. Expect strong outdoor visibility; we’ll still verify with a simple noon-sun legibility check and HDR trigger behavior.

PWM and Brightness: On paper, the X200 FE’s screen reaches 5000 nits in local peaks and 1800 nits HBM, with 2160 Hz PWM dimming for low-light comfort. That should help with sunlight readability and flicker sensitivity, though we’ll validate these claims in testing.

    Performance and thermals

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ uses an all-big-core layout topped by a 3.4 GHz Cortex-X4. Expect excellent burst performance and stable gaming if the cooling holds up. Our test plan: a 20-minute stress run, surface temperature logging, and repeatable benchmarks (Geekbench 6, AnTuTu v10, 3DMark Solar Bay). Specs confirmed by vivo.

    Cameras (sensors, modes, video)

The main unit is 50 MP Sony IMX921 with OIS, paired with 50 MP IMX882 periscope (also OIS) and an 8 MP ultrawide. The 50 MP selfie has autofocus. Video goes up to 4K. We’ll add daylight, low-light, portrait, and 4K stabilization samples after lab days.

OIS and 4K: Yes. The X200 FE has OIS on both the 50 MP IMX921 main and the 50 MP IMX882 3× periscope, and it records up to 4K video. The selfie camera is 50 MP with autofocus, which is handy for vlogging and sharper portraits.

    Battery and charging

It packs a 6,500 mAh cell and 90 W wired charging. There’s no wireless charging. The box includes a USB power adapter and cable. Our standard battery suite will cover a 90-minute YouTube loop, a 30-minute BGMI session, standby drain, and a 0–100% timer. Specs are from vivo’s parameter page.

Real-world battery life: With a 6,500 mAh battery and a 1.5K 120 Hz panel, most users should see comfortable all-day endurance. Fast 90 W charging helps top up quickly. We’ll log a streaming loop and gaming slice to put numbers on it, but the capacity and wattage are official.

    Software and updates

Out of the box, it runs Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15. vivo hasn’t posted a model-specific update policy page for the FE. Industry roundups currently describe up to four Android versions and five years of security for recent X-series flagships, but treat that as context rather than a guarantee.

    How many Android updates?
vivo hasn’t published an FE-specific policy yet. Recent coverage of vivo’s flagship policy suggests up to 4 Android versions and 5 years of security for X-series models, but we’ll update this section if vivo posts exact terms for the X200 FE.

    Network and 5G bands

Dual nano-SIM with 5G + 5G Dual SIM Dual Standby. The India parameter page lists 20 SA bands (n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n18/n20/n25/n26/n28/n34/n38/n39/n40/n41/n48/n66/n77/n78) and 7 NSA bands (n1/n3/n28/n40/n41/n77/n78). Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, NavIC, NFC reader mode, USB 2.0. Carrier features such as VoNR depend on operator support.

5G bands: It’s well covered: 20 SA bands and 7 NSA bands listed on vivo’s India spec page, including n1/n3/n28/n40/n41/n77/n78 that matter in India. The phone supports dual-SIM dual standby on 5G. As usual, advanced features like VoNR depend on your carrier.

Charger in the box: Yes. The vivo X200 FE box includes a USB power adapter, USB-C cable, case, SIM tool, and pre-applied film. That’s confirmed on the India parameter page. Wireless charging isn’t supported, so the 90 W wired brick is the way to go.
