1. Our Commitment to Accuracy At AdwaitX Media, trust is our most valuable currency. While we strive for 100% accuracy in our reporting on AI, Mobile Tech, and Enterprise Hardware, we acknowledge that errors can occur. When they do, our policy is simple: We own it, we fix it, and we tell you exactly what changed.
2. Scope of Policy This policy applies to all content published on our platform, including:
- Breaking News Reports
- Product Reviews & Benchmarks
- How-To Guides & Tutorials
- Social Media Posts (X, LinkedIn, Threads)
- Newsletters
3. Types of Errors & How We Handle Them
- Factual Corrections: If we get a fact wrong (e.g., incorrect price, wrong processor model), we will:
- Update the article immediately.
- Add a clear “Correction:” note at the bottom of the article explaining the error (e.g., “Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the battery capacity as 5000mAh. It has been corrected to 4500mAh.”).
- Clarifications: If the information was factually correct but phrased in a way that could be misleading, we will rewrite the sentence and add a “Clarification:” note.
- Editor’s Notes: For significant updates or context added after publication (e.g., a company responding to a report), we place an “Editor’s Note” at the top of the article.
- Retractions: In rare cases where a story is found to be fundamentally flawed or based on false information, we will:
- Remove the content.
- Replace the page with a “Retraction Statement” explaining why the story was taken down.
- We do not “ghost delete” (delete without explanation) major articles.
4. Review & Updates
- Minor Typos: Spelling or grammatical errors that do not change the meaning of the content are fixed silently to improve readability.
- Timestamps: If an article is updated with significant new information (e.g., a software update fix), we change the “Last Updated” timestamp at the top.
5. How to Report an Error We encourage our community and subjects of coverage to hold us accountable.
- Email:
corrections@adwaitx.com - Subject Line: Please use “Correction Request: [Article Title]”
- What to Include:
- The URL of the article.
- The specific sentence or fact you believe is incorrect.
- A primary source (link/document) proving the correct information.
6. Response Time
- Urgent (Fact Errors): We aim to review and verify claims within 24 hours.
- General Inquiries: Up to 48 hours.
7. Social Media Corrections If we distribute incorrect information on social media (X, Facebook, LinkedIn), we do not just delete the post. We will delete the incorrect post and publish a new post with the correction, explicitly stating the error.
8. Community Feedback AdwaitX is built for its readers. Your vigilance helps us maintain the highest standards of tech journalism.
