NVIDIA GeForce NOW has unveiled its January 2026 lineup with 14 new games joining the cloud gaming platform. Five titles are available to stream immediately, including Warhammer 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2 and My Winter Car, while the remaining nine will roll out throughout the month. The service continues to leverage RTX 5080-powered cloud servers launched in September 2025, offering Ultimate members access to DLSS 4 and up to 5K resolution at 120 fps.

What’s New This Week

The first wave of January additions went live on January 2, 2026, with five games streaming now:

  • My Winter Car (Steam, new release December 29)
  • Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Xbox Game Pass)
  • The Casting of Frank Stone (Xbox Game Pass)
  • Eternights (Epic Games Store)
  • Warhammer 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2 (Epic Games Store, RTX 5080-ready)

Two titles Warhammer 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2 and Factorio are optimized as “GeForce RTX 5080-ready” games, meaning they support DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation for enhanced performance.

Full January 2026 Roadmap

Nine additional games will arrive throughout the month:

  • January 6: StarRupture (Steam)
  • January 9: Pathologic 3 (Steam)
  • January 12: Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (Steam)
  • January 20: MIO: Memories in Orbit (Steam, Xbox Game Pass)
  • January 22: Nova Roma (Steam)
  • Dates TBA: Guild Wars: Reforged, Mon Bazou, Supermarket Simulator (Game Pass), Tavern Keeper

December 2025 also brought seven bonus titles to the service, including Fallout: New Vegas across Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Game Pass.

Why RTX 5080 Cloud Gaming Matters

GeForce NOW’s Ultimate tier upgraded to RTX 5080 cloud servers in September 2025 at no additional cost. The hardware jump enables three streaming options: 5K at 120 fps, 1440p at 240 fps, or 1080p at 360 fps. DLSS 4 introduces Multi Frame Generation technology, delivering up to 4X frame rate improvements compared to DLSS 3.5’s 2X limit.

The Ultimate membership remains priced at $19.99 per month or $199.99 annually, while the Performance tier costs $9.99 monthly. Both tiers now include 100GB of single-session storage, with optional persistent storage add-ons from 200GB to 1TB.

NVIDIA emphasized the RTX 5080 upgrade brought “all the NVIDIA technologies that 50 Series GPU owners have access to” into cloud gaming, eliminating local hardware requirements for maximum-fidelity gaming.

Platform and Availability

GeForce NOW supports over 2,000 games from Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Game Pass, and other storefronts. The Install-to-Play feature expanded compatibility to over 4,500 titles by allowing members to install partnered games not yet fully integrated into the service.

The platform’s native Steam Deck app launched in 2025, enabling handheld gaming at “max fidelity” with RTX cloud performance. Discord integration also arrived for select games, including Fortnite.

What’s Next

NVIDIA typically announces GeForce NOW additions every Thursday via its “GFN Thursday” blog series. The January lineup prioritizes day-one releases like Pathologic 3 and StarRupture alongside established titles gaining cloud support.

The service now offers 2,000+ games across PC storefronts, with RTX 5080 optimization rolling out to more titles. No announcements yet confirm February 2026 additions, but NVIDIA’s 2025 pattern suggests 20-30 games monthly.
